Coronavirus Update - 12th April

From Monday 12th April, following the Governments announcement to move to Step 2, and in line with guidance from the Scout Association and the National Youth Agency, Scout Groups across England will be able to meet outdoors and indoors.

Groups who have had an Amber Restart Risk Assessment approved for outdoor and indoor activities can begin meeting indoors straight away, as there is no requirement for re-approval unless there is a significant change such as a change of venue, however please ensure that your Risk Assessment is updated to reflect any minor changes.

AMBER Level Guidance (from Monday 12th April 2021):

  • Small Group Activities outdoors and Indoors allowed.

  • No Residential Activities allowed.

There is no maximum Group size for Beavers, Cubs, Scout and Explorers however the group must remain as only one section meeting independently of others. Indoor activities will be limited by the size of the location given social distancing remains.

Scout Network programmed activities (non social): 15 people maximum.

Adult activities (non-social) with no young people present: check local government guidance
