Face-to-face Scouting returns for Outdoors

From today (Monday 29th March 2021) Scouting across England is now in AMBER Readiness Level.

This means that face-to-face Scouting can resume outdoors only for sections who have had their Amber restart Risk Assessment approved by the Restart Committee.

You will only need to have your Amber Restart Risk assessment re-approved if there is a significant change, such as meeting in a different location etc.

If your Section or Group have had their Risk assessment approved, we strongly advise all leaders, helpers and parents to read through this again prior to returning face-to-face.

AMBER Readiness Level Requirements (From 29th March 2021)

  • Groups can meet face-to-face outdoors only. There is no maximum Group size limit for activities with young people. For Network and Adult limits, please click here.

  • No Residential Activities

The number of adults present should be limited to those who are required to be present to support the activity. It’s important to remember that we’re still in the middle of the pandemic and we all have the duty to make sure we’re following the letter and spirit of the guidance.
