Make friends

Scouts are do-ers and give-it-a-go-ers. Yes, we go camping, hiking, swimming, abseiling, cycling and canoeing.

But we also get to hang out with our friends every week –  having fun, playing games, working in a team and taking on new challenges.

Every week we give almost half a million 4-25 year olds the skills they need for school, college, university, the job interview, the important speech, the tricky challenge and the big dreams: the skills they need for life.

Volunteering. It's #GoodForYou

Volunteering’s not just about giving back – it goes both ways. It improves your wellbeing, gives you skills for the future, and helps you make new friends (and memories). Whether you want to work with young people directly or help behind the scenes, there’s something for everyone at Scouts.

If you are not keen on a Leadership role, but still want to socialise and support at District events, why not join our Scout Active Support Unit (SASU)
