Welcome to the Central Notts Scouts District website.
Central Notts is a Scout District in Nottinghamshire, and is situated to the North-East of the City of Nottingham. The District currently has over 17 Scout Groups, and 7 Explorer Scout Units and a Scout Network all of which are located between Colwick and Southwell.

The District is led by our District Commissioner who is supported by Assistant District Commissioners, District Leaders, Advisers and Administrators. These volunteers provide guidance and support to Scout Groups and their sections.
We support volunteers to ensure a quality balanced programme is delivered through programme resources and training. We run district events, and activities and support international activities. Scouting is available in our District for young people from 6 – 25 years old. We have many opportunities for adults to volunteer in a variety of ways depending on the time you have available.

Aged 14 and up? Volunteer for Scouts...
We always welcome volunteers from every community and background. You don't need to have been a Scout, you just need to be positive and believe that we can all make a difference to society. Whether you want to volunteer for your Duke of Edinburgh Award, or if you want to take an Adult role, you will be welcomed warmly into Central Notts District.

The training scheme for volunteers will mean that you will get as much from Scouting as much as our Young People do. The modular training will ensure you have all of the skills required to help you on your Scouting path.
Volunteers can choose their training modules that are relevant to the role that they hold, ranging from leadership to running residential experience and First Aid.
