Squirrels and Explorers are coming to Redhill!

We're proud to announce a new Squirrel Scout Drey, and a new Explorer Scout Unit will be opening in the Redhill Area in early 2024, and will see Scouting activities being provided for young people aged between 4-6 years, and 14-18 years.

Welcome to the Central Notts Scouts District website.

Central Notts is a Scout District in Nottinghamshire, and is situated to the North-East of the City of Nottingham.

The District is led by our District Commissioner who is supported by Assistant District Commissioners, District Leaders, Advisers and Administrators. These volunteers provide guidance and support to Scout Groups and their sections.

We support volunteers to ensure a quality balanced programme is delivered through programme resources and training. We run district events, and activities and support international activities. Scouting is available in our District for young people from 6 – 25 years old. We have many opportunities for adults to volunteer in a variety of ways depending on the time you have available.
